the children with your music. My son Matthew does not touch vegetables,
except broccoli, and we went to eat lunch at a Mexican restaurant and
I ordered Spinach quesadillas. Anyhow, Matthew was willing to try one
and ate several bites of spinach because of your DVD and said he is will
to try new things. Next example is that he has always been poor at brushing
his teeth and it is a battle every evening. After watching your DVD he
now brushes his teeth by himself – every time he hears your song
and at night uses a 2 minute timer. David, Your DVD has been the DVD of choice for my son Alexander. He absolutely loves it. He wants to watch it every day. He gets up and dances to it ... he loves the dogs, it's just his favorite. Even though he's gotten a million other DVDs for Christmas, yours is the one he wants. Have you shown this to Disney? We love your new DVD! Not only do we rewind and play, rewind and play my
child's favorite parts, I find myself laughing at the humor only an adult can get! Sydney's
favorite is PB&J man, and I confess, I love the part where Super Chachie is
flying through the air to save the day! But my personal favorite is the game
show, Win, Lose or Paw! You're crackin' us up David! You continue to find
fresh ways to make the kids laugh and learn. Oh yeah, one more thing: thanks
for the free David Chicken Toothbrush!
Sincerely, David, Your new DVD has been the biggest hit around here! Each of the kids has a favorite part. Bonnie likes the adventures of Super Chachie, DeeDee likes the Scakle dance segment and Zac loves the theme song. The footage at the state faire is so much fun! In fact, the DVD has been so much fun for us, we've been taking it with us to share. The kids took it to the doctor’s office, the nursery at church, and to Bennigans restaurant when it was family night to watch on their television. I have a musical theatre background and a degree in early childhood development.
But in all my time on stage and in the classroom, I've never seen someone
who so passionately cares about instilling a love of music and exercise
in kids. After meeting you it's obvious that you are absolutely genuine
and care about the kids.
David, we were there to see you, and you were absolutely wonderful! I am telling everyone! You not only entertained the kids, but also the parents! That evening we were singing your songs all the time, could not get them out of our heads. You managed to make all the children there a "star". The posters and tees w/ your autograph were special, but it's the DVD my 3 grandchildren are watching 24/7. Your Mom and your dog are special, too. My grandson is sorta shy at first, and when you put him on stage to play the guitar, he was shy, but then he "let loose". That also prepared him for this last weekend when he had a "Chuck E. Cheese" 4th birthday party, and he was not afraid to be next to CEC, as he has been in the past. Good luck, and hug your Mom and puppy! Connie Purdom, Hello David, I have three small children relatively close in age, thus causing some very chaotic moments as a parent. However, it is amazing to see my kids' faces light up just by mentioning David Chicken. Adriel (4 yrs old) has really come out of his shell lately. He knows all the songs and dances around non-stop until the end of the DVD. Then I hear those familiar words, "Let's see it AGAIN." You should see all three of them during "Brusha Yo Teeth"; they all start hustling around looking for their toothbrushes and race each other to the sink. I have NEVER seen a child more excited about brushing their TEETH. It is absolutely wonderful; what used to be a chore for them is now completely the opposite. THANK YOU. Another advantage my children and I have gained is the constant motion we engage in during the one-hour David Chicken DVD. With my busy schedule, I normally do not have ample time to exercise without feeling guilty that I am not spending that time with my kid-o's. Now I can do both. My daughter London is watching your video again. I wish I had a "repeat"
button on the DVD player. This morning when I woke her up, the first words
out of her mouth were "Can I go watch David Chicken again?"
Keep in mind that she watched you 15+ times yesterday. This hasn't happened
since Peter Pan! Your perfectionism has paid off … you are in good
artistic company with Disney. |
